At the moment, the recovery situation around the state varies. The shoreline communities were the hardest hit although there are over 600,000 customers without power throughout Connecticut. The HQ building does have power. The Governor has not officially rescinded his ban on the state highways at this time, however. He will be having an official press conference at 8:30 am. Accordingly, I have decided to delay opening the HQ building until 10 am. If the Governor continues his travel ban or makes an announcement that would affect that decision, we will update the decision at that time. 73, Barry J.
