[arrl-odv:23595] HR-4969?

Well, seeing it is December, we have over double the co-sponsors we originally set out to get, and there has been no posted information on “The Call” to Greg Walden, will anything happen before the end of the year? Was this another empty political promise, or is there still hope? The last posted note was that we would hear something by Thanksgiving, and unless I missed it, I did not hear anything. So, if this is in a sensitive phase and must be kept quiet, please say so. If not, I think we would all appreciate a status report. Many have put their hearts and souls into this effort. ’73 de JIM N2ZZ Objective #1: The ARRL seeks legislation instructing the FCC to extend the requirement for “reasonable accommodation” of Amateur Radio station antennas (a requirement that now applies to state and local regulations) to all forms of land use regulation.

thanks Jim. It seems that I get at least one email a day, from members, asking about the status. 73, JIm From: James F. Dr. Jim, it was only last evening that we had a meaningful turn of events in our plans for the Bill and for preemption of CC&Rs (and not for lack of trying to get something earlier). I have just finished a long memo on this subject and once it is appropriately edited I will get it to all of you immediately. 73, Chris W3KD On Tue, Dec 9, 2014 at 11:37 AM, James F.
