Just got my WSJ in the mail. The article reads and looks worse in the paper than it read in Dave's email this morning. It sure won't help recruit any new hams, but I realize that wasn't the purpose of the article! Guess I shouldn't have expected much. Sure wish they wouldn't have pulled and put in big bold print "The American Radio Relay League has seen its membership shrink to today's 160,000 from a peak of 175,000 in 1995, and the average member is in his mid-50s."
