[ARRL-ODV:9049] Re: BPL Comments, as Filed

How is your buddy the "Lizard" involved with BPL?? No matter what the subject, he is always on the opposite side. He should be working for the FCC.....or then again, maybe he is!!! Joel -----Original Message----- From: W3KD@aol.com [mailto:W3KD@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 12:27 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [ARRL-ODV:9047] BPL Comments, as Filed Greetings. Yesterday evening, after substantial edits, we filed the attached comments with FCC electrronically in the BPL proceeding. We think you will be pleased with the result, though once again I must apologize to the Executive Committee, which was not provided a copy of the draft of these comments for their review until Thursday evening, July 3, and a clean draft Monday morning, July 7, the due date. The comments, with attachments, ran to 120 pages. I am sending only the cover pleading with this e-mail, to get it through ARRL's server. I will send Ed Hare's very fine technical exhibits (critical to understanding the filing) separately, zipped. You can also find the complete pleading on the FCC ECFS web site under Docket 03-104. We are now reviewing the comments and preparing both technical and legal responses to the comments on file. Those of you who are doing your own review, pay particular attention to those filed by our arch-nemesis, Mitch Lazarus, a communications lawyer who is an extremely worthy opponent. There are others. 73, Chris W3KD 73, Chris W3KD
