[arrl-odv:17274] Re: Pirate Versions of ARRL Publications on Web

Dick, we are aware of a number of these instances, typically originating in Eastern Europe or other countries where enforcement is very difficult. We have been sending cease and desist letters out periodically, but they have not been particularly effective. This case is particularly egregious, however, and covers a lot of our publications. It is worth a closer look. Thanks for sending this along. We will?see if we can find a means of dealing with this more effectively than we have in the past, but enforcement is very expensive and is something like "whack-a-mole". You hit one on the head, and another pops up. ? 73, Chris W3KD Christopher D.
