[arrl-odv:28642] HF Band Planning Committee

Hi all: On the HF band planning issues and Minute 31, we had discussed looking at those issues once Counsel Siddall filed the report with the FCC (and he is working to get that done ASAP because the 60 day extension we asked for is up). But, we can’t wait any longer given the urgency of the frequency matters being raised now. A couple of weeks or so ago, you will recall that we had some frequency questions come up about FT4. I asked Ned and Ria to work with Greg Widin (Chair of the HF Band Planning Committee) to look at the FT4 frequency issues. They have been doing so and I believe even had a conference call with Joe Taylor. To expand on the ACDS and other digital mode issues coming forth now, I asked Mike Ritz, Dale Williams and Kermit Carlson to also serve on the HF Band Planning Committee. This will make for a well-rounded committee as they proceed to tackle these issues. 73 Rick – K5UR Excuse any typos. On the road… Sent from my iPhone

Do we have a public announcement about this new committee coming out soon? That might help curb some of this email storm we are seeing over Minute 31? Thanks. Mark, HDX On Mon, Aug 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM Rick Roderick via arrl-odv < arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> wrote:

I’ve asked Howard to coordinate something with Lindquist and Siddall. Rick Sent from my iPhone
