Hamfest has come and gone. The order of the hamfest was rain , rain and more rain. Attendance however was still up there at around 10,000 . The hamfest people at Shelby were very nice this year and gave the league a premium location in a nice air conditioned building. We had lots of viewing area and I was able to speak with hundreds of booth visitors . We got a few new members as a result. The forum despite the rain (which brings them inside) was only moderately attended. My thanks to Dan Henderson N1ND and all the card checking gang. Also to Vice Director Sandy Donahue W4RU from the Southeast Div. and to Section managers Pat Hensley N4ROS from SC and John Covington W4CC from NC for thier help at the tables .
