Ladies & Gentlemen: Please find below the summary of Publication Sales for February 2017, and for the YTD (January, February): Publication and product sales were $433,206 during the first two months of 2017; this is $46K short of our forecast. Of the shortfall, $30.5K, is attributed to lower than predicted sales of the Ham Radio License Manual, which outpaced our forecasts for most of 2016 due to exceptionally large orders from one major reseller. Our YTD forecast had also included $16,875 for the new book Ham Radio from Indoors, the introduction of which has been postponed until the Parity Act legislation is passed. Bob Inderbitzen reports that it's early in the year, and this shortfall could still be overcome. The forecast for March could be exceeded with the earlier-than-planned introduction of the new Repeater Directory. And, 2 large Amazon orders received on the last day of Feb are shipped as March business.
