Cingular Wireless LLC has filed a Petition for Declaratory Ruling with the FCC requesting that the FCC preempt recent amendments to the Anne Arundel County, MD zoning ordinance. Cingular maintains that the FCC has exclusive jurisdiction to regulate RFI, and that the Anne Arundel amendments conflict with the Commission's rules regarding the resolution of RFI.
