RE: [ARRL-ODV:6998] Major Donor Prospect List and Dayton

Mochenbacher, Dennis Mary...you do realize that this is our new Sales and Marketing Manager? Barry -----Original Message----- From: Hobart, Mary [mailto:mhobart@arrl.org] Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 4:19 PM To: ODV (E-mail) Subject: [ARRL-ODV:6998] Major Donor Prospect List and Dayton In preparation for our first Donor Recognition Event at Dayton, I have begun to create a list of prospects that we can invite to that event and that we can use as a base for our expanded membership and major donor program. The attached document details some of the information I have collected so far from Board members and staff. As you will see the list has some holes in it and can certainly be expanded over time. If you have not yet sent me your initial list of prospects, or if you've had additional ideas that should be added, please do so at your earliest convenience. The invitations for the Dayton event with special guest Joe Taylor will be ready for mailing next week and I want to make sure that our best prospects are on the invitation list. Remember, it's not always whether they attend, it's whether they receive an invitation. The Board will receive invitations to this inaugural recognition event, where I hope that Board members, select staff and current donors will help us cultivate increased contributions from some, and new contributions from others. The event presents some intersting challenges for all of us. It will be held on Friday evening, May 17 from 6 - 8 pm at the Officers' Club at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. It promises to be an unforgettable evening with Nobel prize winner Joe Taylor. As I plan the details of the event, one key element will present special challenges and make the event memorable. Due to heightened security at the base, the list of attendees MUST be at the Security Office for screening by May 10 at the latest. Once that list is submitted, no additional names can be added. For now, please review the attached list. This is by no means a final prospect list since the identification and cultivation process is continual. But if you can add information to any of these names, remove any you think are not viable, or wish to add names, please do so and provide as much information as you can. A reply by email rather than trying to add names to this document is preferable. As leaders of our organization, your input is vital to our continuing success. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you. 73, Mary <<MDPropsects.xls>> You're invited...to inspire the next generation to enjoy Amateur Radio.
