I thought I’d share this email with you as the included QSL card is beautifully researched! Scott is celebrating 100 years of his callsign, recognizing all those who held it before he did. My QSLs would be extremely boring as I was the first holder of WB2MAE, NW2D, and NA2AA. Enjoy. That’s really wonderful. I keep the bio of the former holder of my call on my QRZ page. I believe ‘Mac’ (Irwin McNally) was the first holder of K6WX. I ran into his son Bill, N6MN, at a hamfest in Torrance. He was very touched that I kept that up there. Great card, David! When I was granted W7VO back in 2008 after moving here from 6 land, out of the blue I received letters and e-mails from the families and friends of the prior two holders of the callsign going back to 1947. Those letters provided great history and insightful information about who those ops were, and was the foundation for what caused me to do the research necessary put my infamous callsign history presentation together. I am the 5th holder of W7VO, and the 7th if you include the original 7VO, which dates back to 1922. 73; Mike W7VO (ex WN6HKP, WA6HKP, and KW6C)
