[arrl-odv:20301] Magazine Article About Ham Radio

This is snipped from a reflector to which I subscribe: "K1DG has written an excellent article in the EDN Magazine about development of Ham Radio in the last 60 years and its position in the 21st century. It is worth reading. Doug should be thanked for his work. It shows to the members of the Electronic Industry what we are and what we do. Please spread the word." www.edn.com/article/519742-Ham_radio_in_the_21st_century.php A great job by Doug Grant, K1DG. Why aren't we leading the way? 73, Bob -- W6RGG

Actually Bob, Doug received some of his material from us. He called me, and Allen Pitts followed up with him. Although Doug is a special case since I've known him for so long, this is fairly typical of how good articles come about. In this case he was asked to write an article by someone he knew. He is also going to be doing a blog.
