The 2001 ARRL DXCC Yearbooks are in the mail. Some of the highlights include the results of the DeSoto Cup. Bob Eshleman, W4DR, won for the 2nd year in a row with 2396 band countries. Austin Regal, N4WW, placed 2nd with 2360 and in 3rd place was Rick Roderick, K5UR with 2359 countries. As of December 31, 2001 824 DXers have qualified for the DXCC Challenge, with 1,000 band countries or more.
