Chip Margelli posted this on Facebook. 73, Kay N3KN Very deeply saddened to observe the passing of a decades-long friend, business associate, and giant in the world of amateur radio: Bob Ferrero, W6RJ (formerly K6AHV), who departed yesterday, December 4th. Bob, a CHP officer and Navy veteran, acquired Ham Radio Outlet in Burlingame, California in 1971 and through decades of hard work and commitment to his customers turned it into the largest amateur radio retail chain in the world, with 14 stores now throughout the United States. Bob loved his family and loved amateur radio, and he was the walking definition of a hale fellow, well met. We'll miss you, Bob. 73 for now. Sent from my iPhone
