The Election Committee has determined that the nomination petition for Patricia Hensley, N4ROS, for Roanoke Division Vice Director is invalid. The petition bears ten signatures, but one of the signers is not an ARRL member. Accordingly, the petition is one signature short. As the only eligible candidate, Leslie Shattuck, K4NK, is declared re-elected for the three-year term beginning at noon January 1, 2004. The Election Committee also has determined that Howard Huntington, K9KM, is eligible to be a candidate for Vice Director of the Central Division.
