I am being kindly lobbied over Minute 64. Will this have the effect of killing AM on the bands or not? 73 Gary, Paul Rinaldo and I are beginning to struggle with the massive Part 97 changes that are called for by this motion. I think it fair to say that we are not in that process violating the cardinal rule that one should not ever take anything away from a ham by regulation, learned the hard way in the course of incentive licensing. What you all ultimately authorize to be filed may be a different thing entirely, but at this stage, elimination of AM is not the plan. Chris
