[ARRL-ODV:7570] Re: N1MZA - SK

It is very sad to know that Steve has become a silent key. He was a knowable and a professional person. I always commented to him about DC Currents as I enjoyed reading. We even talked about the Tennessee's Representatives in Washington and it was always positive even when they were negative. He will be missed by all! M. today. Ellen his wife was with him at the time. I shall remember his wit, and enthusiasm when we worked together in Washington. He was a true D. C. "Junkie" as he liked to say. He always liked to point out to me, the various "people that are in Washington" and tell me a little about each. One night in particular, Allen Greenspan came in to the restaurant and sat at the table next to ours. You could clearly see that Steve was excited and that he loved his job. We shall miss him.
