12 MAR 2012 - 1748 CDT There have been further developments regarding Illinois H-3972 "Wireless Devices While Driving". This bill has been passed by the Illinois House with the listed exemption for Amateur Radio licensees intact. It has now been sent to the Illinois Senate. I believe the other similar Illinois House bills have been withdrawn or pigeon-holed. - Dick, W9GIG
