This is very sad news. Earle had quite a sparkling personality and I always enjoyed spending time with him when he came to the ARRL Board Meetings. He became such a good friend. This is so unfortunate. I always enjoyed having chats on the side with Earl during breaks, meals, and such. A consummate gentleman and a selfless asset to amateur radio not only in Canada, but beyond.
