As several of you know, my wife Linda, KA1ZD is a qualified international election observer. She has monitored elections in Kosovo, Armenia and Belarus on behalf of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). She has been selected as one of 55 Short Term Observers being supplied by the United States for the parliamentary elections in Ukraine on Sunday, September 30. As she is of Ukrainian heritage on her mother's side, she is very excited to be going and has asked me to go with her. We will be leaving the US on Tuesday afternoon, September 25 and returning Wednesday afternoon, October 3.
