Greetings. The FCC today released its NPRM in Docket 05-235. They did not propose to adopt our restructuring II proposal. They instead proposed only to eliminate telegraphy examination requirements completely from Amateur licensing.
We are attempting to find out what the actual rationale is for this proposal, and their rejection of our carefully crafted proposal, which had substantial support.
The comment date is long, and we will have plenty of opportunity to see about bringing this back on track.
