I have spoken with Chris about this. (Chris, please feel free to jump in if you need to clarify this.) The LoTW program itself is proprietary to the ARRL and is copyrightable. Chris recommended that we place a copyright notice on the main LoTW web page. Jon has done this and here is the page. All Rights Reserved The QSO data submitted to LoTW by operators is their data and is not copyrightable. Therefore, individual LoTW participants can use their LoTW data in the form of screen printouts etc. for CQ or any other awards program.
