In accordance with the 2015 Plan approved by the Board of Directors in January, ARRL has closed its office in Fairfax, Virginia, effective today. Technical Relations Specialist Jonathan Siverling, WB3ERA, and I continue to be full time employees of ARRL and will telecommute when we're not in the District or on the road for ARRL business. Washington Administrative Assistant Virginia Macfarlan, KD4VSK‎, has retired effective today. I am grateful for Jon and Virginia's substantial contributions toward the mechanics of this transition. I appreciate Director Rehman's pointer toward vop.ms for telephone service. Our plan is to establish telephone service for Jon and me through the existing ARRL VoIP system. It is my understanding that phones will be configured after tonight's scheduled maintenance.
