If you have any questions, let me know. Maria ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------- PAGE 1 The first page is all VEC activity over the last few years. The 1st chart shows the tremendous and expected spike in the General upgrades and Extra upgrades this year. In 2007, upgrades to Generals increased by 431% and upgrades to Extras increased by 87% over previous years. We also continue to enjoy a growth in new technicians coming into the hobby. New Techs have increased by 11% this year. For the surprisingly good news we have to take a look at the 2nd chart. New Generals coming into the hobby have increased by 300% and new Extras by 104%. New Generals and new Extras did not impact the new Tech totals. These numbers make it obvious that there is an amplified interest in AR. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- PAGE 2 Page 2 is ARRL VEC stats only, comparing the last four months of activity with the same months in 2006. Again no surprise, that after the tremendous surge, testing activity has leveled off. However, some more good news, our volume of activity has leveled off at a point higher than previous years.
