Though most of the talk has been about H.R. 607, we do still have our own bill making progress in the Senate! We had hoped that it would be marked up (a.k.a. considered) today in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. However, we've been informed that it has been postponed until the next mark up. I don't know when that will be. We are *not* asking for members to write about S. 191 at this time. Chwat has a strategy for getting it through the Senate expeditiously and over to the House, where it will be positioned for consideration in committee in place of H.R. 81, the bill introduced precipitously by Rep.
