6 AUG, 2002 - 2230 CDT I have every confidence that Coy will be able to keep the planning committee on track and that he will keep us informed about the ideas under consideration. It appears the committee will be quite receptive to input from the board. The biggest plus and minus in having non-board members on this committee is that they are not directly answerable to the ARRL membership. But I happen to think they should not be. Their goal is to brainstorm and look at issues from new, but experienced, viewpoints.
