Thanks to all that got on the air for the 2005 IARU HF Championship contest this weekend and worked W1AW/5 operating from Arkansas. Lot's of fun for the whole gang down here. We had five host stations in the north central part of Arkansas on 160-10 meters SSB and CW for the entire contest. The 80 meter SSB and 15 meter SSB stations were operated from W5ZN. While at the mic I personally worked K0BJ, N3KN, K1KI, and W2OWL (N2FF in disguise!). I'm sure there were others that are in the other logs that I haven't seen yet. 80 meters turned out real well from here for a July summer night in the south. The band was quite in all directions despite the hurricane to the southeast. We managed 406 Q's with 30 multipliers from 23 different countries. Thanks again to all who gave us a Q. 73 Joel W5ZN
