[arrl-odv:28299] MOU with civil air patrol

I received a phone call from Lt. Col Wayne Fox, N2MET from the Civil Air Patrol concerning an updated memorandum of agreement with them. Do we have a status update on this? I believe David Isgur and Howard were working on it. However I don't know if any other directors or the President have been aware of the situation. In particular Lt. Fox wanted the timing of completion to coincide with their board meeting so this could be presented to them. I was wondering if anything would be presented at our board meeting as well. 73 Ria, N2RJ Director, Hudson Division

I've not heard anything, Ria. I'll defer to Howard for an update. 73Rick - K5UR -----Original Message----- From: rjairam@gmail.com <rjairam@gmail.com> To: ODV <arrl-odv@arrl.org> Sent: Tue, Jul 9, 2019 1:19 pm Subject: [arrl-odv:28299] MOU with civil air patrol I received a phone call from Lt. Rick, Ria, ODV, We have been working with Lt Col Fox for several months. He initially approached us with the idea of using our licensing material in CAP classes. We agreed to work with CAP to establish ARRL-affiliated Amateur Radio Clubs within their "national, regional, and wing structure" and our existing Club Affiliation Program, and to offer discounted ARRL License Manuals and related publications to CAP radio clubs providing Amateur Radio license instruction/training. Lt Col Fox sent us a draft MOU last week. His draft is based on our existing 2005 MOU that emphasizes public service aspects of ARRL and CAP. He has added some content about training, licensing, and clubs. We have not had time to review his changes. 73, Howard, WB2ITX On 07/09/2019 3:15 PM, Roderick, Rick, K5UR via arrl-odv wrote: I've not heard anything, Ria.
