[arrl-odv:20848] K0QB off line for a while

We had straight line winds early this morning that toppled 15 to 20 trees, many 40 to 50 feets tall, snapped the power poles and generally created a real mess. The power is out and estimates run between a couple of days and a week before restoration. It took three guys with chain saws a couple of hours to make the drive passable. Email will be limited to what I can pick up at the office and my iPhone. There is minor damage to the house and while the trees and wire antennas took a beating the tower and yagi appear unscathed. Photos will be available to those of you dealing with unreasonable cities who claim towers and antennas are a danger in storms. ;<) 73, Jay, KØQB
