I would like to make you aware of some changes to the Public Relations Committee since the Board meeting: After the Board meeting, Chairman Scott Westerman, W9SWS, resigned from the Committee due to work commitments at his job at Michigan State University. President Roderick has appointed Steve "Sid" Caesar, NH7C, as the new Chairman. Sid, who is from Rockville, MD, works for the U.S. Department of the Interior and has been a member of the Public Relations Committee for the past three years. To fill the vacancy left by Scott's departure, Ed Efchak, WX2R, the Northern New Jersey (NNJ) Public Information Coordinator, has been appointed to the Public Relations Committee to fill the vacancy left by Scott's departure. Ed is a former editor of the Bergen (NJ) Daily Record, an influential daily circulation newspaper, and has also worked as a media consultant. 73, Barry J.
