The Internal Revenue Service has recently announced an increase in the rate used for mileage reimbursment for 2008. The new rate that will be in effect for 2008 is 50.5 cents per mile, up from 48.5 cents per mile in 2007. As has been our long-standing policy, the ARRL will reimbursement staff and volunteers for mileage at the rate established by the IRS beginning on January 1, 2008.
