Good opposition research, except that CAI is 501(c)(6) not 501(c)(3). That's why they can have a PAC. They have a separate and much smaller 501(c)(3), the Community Association Institute Research Foundation. They also have numerous chapters that report separately to the IRS. If we do have to counter CAI it may be useful to point out that they want to be treated like everybody else when it comes to accessing federal taxpayer money, but not when it comes to federally licensed amateur stations.
