Remember that this is a win for us. Months ago, Ed Thomas met with us to find out whether there would be any problems with putting this in a ham band. We persuaded him, through technical showings, that indeed there would be. Wireless broadband has much greater promise for rural areas than BPL. The friend I visited in Pancevo, Serbia, had wireless broadband access -- and at the moment there aren't many places on the planet with fewer available resources for infrastructure development than Serbia. While this is true, I gave you the file so you could get the flavor of the FCC's push. What is interesting in this, is that the FCC is proposing to allow up to 25 watts for a part 15 device. See which way the wind is blowing now? Jim H.
