Remember that this is a win for us. Months ago, Ed Thomas met with us to find out whether there would be any problems with putting this in a ham band. We persuaded him, through technical showings, that indeed there would be. Wireless broadband has much greater promise for rural areas than BPL. The friend I visited in Pancevo, Serbia, had wireless broadband access -- and at the moment there aren't many places on the planet with fewer available resources for infrastructure development than Serbia.
