Can someone, other than those on the Legislative Committee, help me understand why this email asking for volunteers to work on a Powerpoint presentation was sent to a public mail list when this is a task that should be handled by our PR and Outreach Manager? Internally there are some very hard questions being asked about WHY this is being done this way. It points to a culture in that committee where they have stopped all communications and cooperation with HQ and are functioning as an independent organization. This continues to underscore a fundamental lack of understanding or care regarding the role of individual directors versus the organization.
