This past weekend, I attended the Southeast VHF Society Conference in Marietta, GA. As usual, an excellent show. Dennis Motschenbacher, K7BV/1, was the featured banquet speaker and did an outstanding job. At the banquet, the Society presented a check to ARRL for $500 for the Defense of Frequencies Fund. Vice Director Donahue is very active with this group on the local level, and has been for several years. The amount donated this year is an increase from their very gracious annual contribution, and that is due in no small part to Sandy's efforts and work with the group. Thanks Sandy. 73 Joel W5ZN p.s.
