Tuck was Vice Director when W6XD was Director. He was NZ6T at the time. Tuck moved to his Illinois hometown after retirement in San Diego. Tuck was "the guy" who started the first SM reflector when HQ "refused" to do so. He set it up on Yahoo and shortly after that was done, the official "SM reflector" was born. HQ advised the SMs that another list was not necessary but Tuck said "Hell yes it's necessary" and after he left the SM ranks Ed Bruette took over as the list owner, followed by myself. I moved it to Groups.io and now John Bigely "The Biggs" is the list owner along with SM Hillendahl. I know that list has been a point of contention over the years but it has been a good resource to SMs for a number of very good discussions.
