Barry Shelley reports that Lyris is up and mail is flowing, albeit slowly with the backlog of messages. An automatic update of the Microsoft operating software was the culprit, not the Lyris software or the hardware. The automatic update changed the password on the SQL database (with no warning) and the Lyris software couldn't start up when it couldn't access the SQL database. Restoring the password allowed us to restart the Lyris services and it was off and running. Barry says, "Thank you Bill Gates!" We are going to investigate whether we can house the Lyris list server at a remote location where we can get 24x7 monitoring and services. Dave K1ZZ
