[arrl-odv:25684] When Will Senate Email Campaign to Begin?

To Mike, Chris, Dan and the Parity Act Team – Thank you. Already I’m getting inquiries as to when the Rally Congress campaign will be disseminated to members, and I’ve had one Section Manager tell me he thinks the SMs should be brought in first before the general membership so they can begin to formulate how they can best address the campaign in their sections. 73 de Bill, N2COP Bill Morine - N2COP Vice Director – Roanoke Division Serving ARRL members in the Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina sections ARRL – The National Association for Amateur Radio™ From: arrl-odv [mailto:arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org] On Behalf Of G Widin Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2016 7:24 PM To: Mike Lisenco N2YBB <n2ybb@arrl.org> Cc: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@arrl.org> Subject: [arrl-odv:25683] Re: Senate Email Campaign to Begin Today Just clicked the link in Rick Roderick's e-mail, and in 2 minutes, my letters started their way to my Senators. It looks like a great tool. I hope many amateurs respond to Rick's request. 73, Greg, K0GW On Tue, Sep 13, 2016 at 9:42 AM, Mike Lisenco N2YBB <n2ybb@arrl.org <mailto:n2ybb@arrl.org> > wrote: Good Morning ODV- The first round of our Senate E-Mail campaign will begin later this afternoon with a letter going to the membership from President Roderick. The email will ask all members to write their U.S. Senators in support of H.R. 1301. The email will link them to the RallyCongress application which simplifies the process of contacting their legislators. A letter to their Senators is provided at the link, and it is attached for your perusal. I ask that all Directors follow-up with a “call to arms” to your Divisions directly. You can use Rick’s email as a basis, write your own, or I could provide you with a template if you’d prefer. We are following up after yesterday’s passage in the House. It’s crunch time as we come down the wire in this Session of Congress. We expect that the Senate will end their September work period earlier than originally expected. That leaves us with the “lame duck” post election session, where anything can happen. We need every Director to support this campaign. Please do so. Feel free to call me if you have any questions. 73 de Mike N2YBB - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mike Lisenco, N2YBB Director, Hudson Division Chairman, ad hoc Legislative Advocacy Committee ARRL - The national association for Amateur Radio™ 917-865-3538 <tel:917-865-3538> n2ybb@arrl.org <mailto:n2ybb@arrl.org> _______________________________________________ arrl-odv mailing list arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org <mailto:arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> https://reflector.arrl.org/mailman/listinfo/arrl-odv
