[arrl-odv:19618] Re: QST Demos

Since I don't have an iPad, this is based on what some lead users have told me, but though there is not an Adobe Flash player for iPad, my understanding is that there are several players that work quite well that will handle Flash displays on the iPad. It would make sense for someone to verify this, but this situation often occurs with Apple products. If this is correct, then not having an Adobe player is not a strike against the Nxtbook version. -- 73, Greg, KØGW ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kay Craigie" <n3kn@verizon.net> To: "arrl-odv" <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Sent: Saturday, January 22, 2011 7:23:23 AM Subject: RE: [arrl-odv:19612] QST Demos Thanks for the demo copies, Harold. It may be just my eyesight, but I think the print in the Texterity version is a little sharper and easier to read. Also, the Nxtbook version uses Adobe Flash, which is not supported on Apple products such as the iPad. In my opinion this is a distinct drawback of that platform. 73 – Kay N3KN
