Due to today's snow and ice storm in CT, we lost power at HQ around 9:30 am. A significant portion of Newington is out as well. At this point, CL&P (our local power company) is unable to estimate when they will restore power to our section of town. As a result, Harold and I decided to close the building and send the staff home. E-mail directed to Board members at arrl.org addresses should continue to be delivered as these are redirected at the ISP's server. E-mail directed to HQ will be held in a que and delivered once we're up and running again. The phones have been switched over to the answering service so those calls will be answered by the service who will tell callers of our situation and ask for their patience until the elements allow us to respond to their requests.
