While we're dis~cussing CQ, let me brag a little. In the Fall issue of CQ VHF, K0NR's FM column talks about the "Colorado 14er Radio Event" held in mid-August, where hams scale about a dozen of Colorado's fifty two 14000' mountains with HTs. Our club put on K4S that weekend from Mt. Sunflower at a dizzying 4039' which is the highest point in KS (and all of 2/3 mile from Colorado...) (& flat as many a billiard table). Bob's article includes a sidebar about our operation. AND the cover photo is a sunrise shot at our 'summit camp'. 73 Bruce K0BJ -- BEGIN-ANTISPAM-VOTING-LINKS ------------------------------------------------------ NOTE: This message was trained as non-spam.
