[arrl-odv:29193] ARRL advertising money.

I have had some conversation with one of our advertisers during the last year, I sent him a typo I spotted in one of his ads, and we have had a few emails since. Out of the blue he sent this. The shake up continues in the league ad departments! I heard a couple of days ago the So now what Podcast that my company sponsors is going away. I mean, that was a steady cash stream for them that just vanishes. Okay…. I guess? It doesn’t bother me for the reason the show is going away, but it was earmarked money that still has to be spent. The same budget now has to be spread across the remaining other shows in our industry. Also okay… I guess? It’s not terribly unexpected with such a big restructuring going on. It allows for some mistakes in the beginning, and it will all be sorted out later. A bold, new, management style with an increase in risk! I like the long term vision!

Hi Mark, ODV, I'll follow up on this after the holidays. It's my understanding that we offered him "space" in the new podcasts and he declined. 73, Howard, WB2ITX On 12/23/2019 9:30 AM, Mark J Tharp wrote: I have had some conversation with one of our advertisers during the last year, I sent him a typo I spotted in one of his ads, and we have had a few emails since.
