Thanks for working the W5ZN gang.....I just happened to be at the "key" when you called. 73 Joel W5ZN -----Original Message----- From: Tom Frenaye [mailto:frenaye@pcnet.com] Sent: Monday, June 28, 2004 6:40 AM To: arrl-odv Subject: [ARRL-ODV:10786] FD report K1TWF and K1KI each took a "little" time to drive to Field Day sites in New England this past weekend. Mike "wins" with 13 sites in EMA WMA VT and NH, plus 667 miles his the odometer. I had 12 sites in CT [actually, one was 2 miles inside ENY] and 460 miles driven. Mike managed a bunch of 2m FM QSOs while mobile, I caught about 350 QSOs mobile on 20 and 40m. Both cars had the new ARRL magnetic "Radio Communication" sign on the side and it was well received - now I need one for the other side of my car. About 3/4 of the FD operations we visited had Get On The Air Stations. Nice to work W0CP and W5ZN on Sunday! -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444
