Tomorrow and Sunday, I will go through over 7,000 qsl cards. They have been filling shoe boxes for over 50 years. When we moved to La Pine, Oregon, I threw away all my 50 years worth of "stateside" qsl's. Well over 4,000. Now, it's time to get rid of all the others. I will save all my DXCC/WAZ/CQ award cards. I told Vicki I am saving her a lot of work when I pass on! Also, I have shoe boxes of EVERY qsl that I received via an envelope. There must be a hundreds of envelopes from all over the world with stamps on them dating back 50+ years. (Some very rare countries...no longer in existence) I am wondering how can I find out if any of these stamps are "rare" and worth anything. Any ideas? I simply have got to get rid of this stuff. I'm sure thousands of hams are in the same boat. Maybe I can help out some stamp collectors ? What have you guys/gals done with your old qsl cards? I have simply run out of room!! Help....tomorrow could turn out to be a four beer job! Thanks for any and all suggestions. Please don't tell me to put them in the corner of my garage. They have GOT TO GO!. This might be a great idea for a future article in QST? "What to do with old qsl cards". I believe this is one of the hardest things a ham has GOT to do. E-bay doesn't seem the right way to get rid of them. Your thoughts? Thanks gang! Bill, K7ZM NW Div. V.Dir.
