Dear Tom and Jim,
Rosalie has made excellent progress with the Hamvention Committee to accommodate a slate of ARRL forums. She was able to squeeze them for an extra slot yesterday, to accommodate a Grassroots Forum. At this point, I think we have all of the time and space they're going to give us.
Here's the list Rosalie has assembled: (the names of the forums are a work-in-process)
Official ARRL Forums.... * ARRL Grassroots Forum (Dir. Fallon to lead?) * ARRL Mentoring Forum (Norm Fusaro to lead) * ARRL Forum (President Haynie and Dir. Weaver to lead?) * ARRL Public Relations Forum (Allen Pitts to lead) * ARRL Technology Task Force Forum (VDir. Huntington to lead?) * AMSAT & ARISS Forum (organized by ARRL, but run by AMSAT) * ARRL Section Manager & Section Leaders Forum (Steve Ewald to lead)
ARRL usually has a hand in some of the other regular Hamvention forums, too. These are organized by individuals working directly with Hamvention (not through ARRL HQ). We're aware of the following: Amateur Radio and The Law; Carole Perry's Teacher's Workshop and Youth in Amateur Radio program; ARES; DXing; Contesting; ARRL Great Lakes forum.
Please feel free to share this list with the other Board members. Thanks.

Tom and Jim:
With Rosalie's help, planning for the Wouff Hong ceremony is well underway. SM Joe Phillips is leading the activity. He has lots of experience with it (costumes, scripts, etc). And, Joe is confident he can pull together a great group to help. We've arranged a space for the ceremony on Saturday night, at the Crown Plaza (theatre style seating for 75 people). It begins at 10:30 PM.
We'll make sure it gets attention in our convention advertising. And, Joe will be well supplied with certificates.
73,
Bob, NQ1R
