[arrl-odv:12819] Petition To Deny K1MAN License Renewal Filed

26 JUL, 2005 - 2110 CDT A few weeks ago, I was asked by a small group of hams if I wanted to add my comments to a petition to the FCC to deny Glen Baxter's, K1MAN license renewal. I was asked because of my participation in the weeks's worth of health and welfare HF traffic after the big 1985 Mexico City earthquake. Mr. Baxter tried to jam some of the operators off the air and failed. I declined to add my two cents worth because of my current ARRL involvement. No use in adding gasoline to the fire. However, I have been more or less kept in the loop. Thus the message below. 73 - Dick, W9GIG ======================================================================== From: "Brian C" <k3vr@hotmail.com> To: k1man14275@aol.com Subject: Petition to Deny Submitted to FCC Date: Tue, 26 Jul 2005 00:27:57 -0400 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed The Lamonica 'Petition to Deny K1MAN's License Renewal' was submitted to the FCC today.
