Friends and Colleagues:

I'm thankful every day, but on this special holiday I wish you all HAPPY THANKSGIVING:  

As I look back on life in general, I can see so many things to be thankful for, including but not limited to this great hobby in which we participate.

For 61 years Ham Radio has given me a great deal of happiness, excitement and pleasure. I know the Model Railroaders believe they have ‘the best hobby in the world’ (K9JF reminds me of this frequently), but today I’ll have to disagree with them; maybe they have the second best.

Certainly, I am first thankful for my family and friends and hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with your loved ones. Don’t forget those who are less fortunate than we, and your senior neighbors that might not be able to travel to be with family.
