Chris, didn't the EC ask you to contact both Kevin and Herb to convince them that Freebanding could fulfill all of their hobbyist radio urges, without any of the responsibilities attendant to an Amateur Radio license?

The following showed up on three different mailing
lists this morning.  Apparently Kevin Mitnick will
be getting his ham license back.  According to the
FCC database, however, his reactivation hasn't
happened yet.

The Washington Post carried the AP story this morning, which somewhat merged the concepts of "computer hacker" and "ham radio enthusiast". Mitnick's attorney was none other than the infamous (and very strange) Lauren Colby, who has written a book about how smoking is not harmful to your health. Lauren is also the attorney for Herb Schoenbaum.
