Subject: [arrl-odv:34700] Central/Midwest Inter-division agreement
As you may know, the Midwest Division Convention this year was actually
held in the Central Division within the St. Louis Metropolitan area --
in the town of Collinsville, IL. In order to maintain a harmonious
relationship between our Divisions and to further the appropriate
decorum within the Board, after consultation with our Vice Directors,
and within the scope of ARRL By-Law 48, we have agreed that effective at
0001 CDT/0101 EDT on April 1, 2023, the Central Division will cede the
Illinois portion of the St. Louis metropolitan area to the Midwest
Division. In exchange, the Midwest Division will, in compensation, cede
the Iowa portion of the Davenport metropolitan area to the Central
Division.
