So much has happened these past few days. Please continue to remember all of those who have lost so much and are misplaced. Shelters still continue to operate in many areas throughout the North East and Amateur Radio Operators are continuing to answer the call for support. Thanks to all of those who are helping and a big thank you to ARRL Staff for all of their continuing support. The earthquake, now seems like nothing compared to what we have faced this week. Thanks for all the support. 73 Joyce KA2ANF
Seeing the news of additional earthquakes (after shocks?) and the hurricane is sobering. We don't think of earthquakes hitting the East Coast or of so much rain from a hurricane so far north. In spite of the fact we Midwesterners sometimes suggest the East Coast should be sawed off and floated out to sea, I wish everyone continues to be safe and avoids any meaningful damage.
We occasionally get a tremor from a secondary fault off the New Madrid fault line, but so far these have gone unnoticed by most people here. Some day, though . . .

Jim
